West Brom manager Steve Clarke believes that the signings of Stephane Sessegnon, Morgan Amalfitano and Victor Anichebe will have a positive impact on his side.
The Baggies swooped on deadline day to draft in the trio, after a disappointing start to the season.
The Midlanders are the only Premier League side yet to score a goal, despite having secured the signatures of a number of attacking players including Scott Sinclair and Matej Vydra.
Clarke however, believes that the additions he has made will make West Brom a greater threat in the final third of the pitch.
“We needed to strengthen in the forward areas and we’re very hopeful that Stephane and Victor will fit the bill,” Clarke told Sky Sports.
“Stephane is quick and direct and can be a match-winner. He has the individual skills that can turn a game.
“He creates chances for others as well as scoring his fair share of goals.
“Along with Morgan, I’m hoping Stephane will add more creativity to the team.”
West Brom also failed with a late move for Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian youngster spent last season on loan at the Hawthorns, netting 17 league goals.
However, he elected to join Everton for the 2013/14 campaign after being allowed to leave the Blues following Samuel Eto’o’s arrival.
