West Bromwich Albion, despite not winning, have returned to the top of the Championship table thanks to results elsewhere.

The Baggies were held to a 2-2 draw by Charlton Athletic at The Valley on Saturday afternoon, but it could have been a much different story as the visitors twice held the lead.

Both teams went to battle for the second time in the space of a week with Albion coming out on top in their FA Cup encounter last time out.

Kenneth Zohore scored then, and he did so again as he handed Slaven Bilic's side the opening strike to break the deadlock. Although, he was quickly pegged back by Josh Davison minutes later.

West Brom retook the lead straight after the break with Hal Robson-Kanu's attempt finding a way in before Tom Lockyer's header rebounded in off goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

And this has led to criticism on social media by several supporters...

'Calamity' and 'shocker' were two words used to describe Johnstone's performance while another fan suggested that he should be dropped.

In his place, it seems as if some fans would like to see Jonathan Bond earn a regular opportunity.

Bond started the week before in their FA Cup tie and kept a clean sheet - their only shutout in their last nine in all competitions.

Some weren't so scathing with their reviews of the 26-year-old's showing as members of the Hawthorns faithful offered up the main reason behind the lack of faith in him.

How he commands his area has been seen as a key weakness of his...

Johnstone has started every single league match this campaign, so it seems rather unlikely that Bilic drops him for an own goal.

Although, the Baggies have only managed to keep a clean sheet in just 19% of their matches, so something needs to change defensively.
