West Brom fans on Twitter are fuming with the low fee secured for Chadli

French Ligue 1 side Monaco recently announced on Twitter that they have finalised a £10m deal for West Brom winger Nacer Chadli, but while Baggies fans were happy to see him leave they have been fuming about the low price for the Belgian international.

Chadli joined the West Midlands side from Tottenham in the summer of 2016 but has only made 38 appearances during his two seasons with the club after struggling with injury problems. However, the 29-year-old was fit enough to star for Belgium in this summer’s World Cup in Russia but then failed to feature in the Championship for the Baggies.

Boss Darren Moore delved into the loan market to sign Harvey Barnes from Leicester this summer and the 20-year-old has been on fire so far, scoring two goals and providing one assist from six appearances.

West Brom fans on Twitter though were not happy that Chadli was being sold by chief executive Mark Jenkins for so little and so close to the end of the transfer window, meaning that a replacement would be extremely hard to come by.
