West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to react after Rekeem Harper won their Player of the Month award, having enjoyed an excellent January in which he put in a string of impressive performances as revealed on the club’s official Twitter account.

The 18-year-old played all but three minutes of the Baggies’ fixtures throughout January as he starts to cement his place in Darren Moore’s starting XI, having originally made his first-team debut in the 1-0 over Bournemouth last season – in doing so, he became the second player born this century to play in the Premier League.
Harper has excelled in the centre of midfield for the Midlands-based side in his 10 appearances across all competitions so far this season, showcasing a maturity beyond his teenage years.

The player who has worked under Moore since he was 11 is still yet to sign a new contract with his current deal set to expire in the summer, although the Baggies boss is confident that won’t be an issue.
Let’s take a look at how the club’s supporters reacted to the news on Twitter…
