West Bromwich Albion moved four points clear at the top of the Championship table on Sunday afternoon as they put on an attacking clinic in south London.

The Baggies eased to a 2-0 victory over Millwall at the Den, several hours after their title challengers Leeds United slipped up at fourth-placed Nottingham Forest, who they'll face later this weekend.

Filip Krovinovic opened the scoring right before the break, expertly slotting home an attempt from just outside the penalty box before young defender Dara O'Shea wrapped up all three points by heading in Kamil Grosicki's corner six minutes from time.

Fans waxed lyrical about both their goalscorers following the match, but midfield general and captain Jake Livermore also drew glowing praise from sections of the travelling support.

Here's what has been said...

A range of superlatives were used to rave over his display - "underrated," "faultless" and "phenomenal" were just three whilst one supporter went as far as describing him as an "actual monster."

Per SofaScore, Livermore recorded two key passes, two successful dribbles and two tackles, so these fans certainly have a reason to swoon over him this weekend.

Others pointed out why he was exactly the right man to captain the club too.

"Driving force" and "what a leader" were just two comments about the skipper.

It also led to many more Baggies fans throwing their weight behind the 30-year-old as they believed he was the Man of the Match at the Den, whilst some went a step further to label him their Player of the Season - so far.

"By a mile" and "no doubt" were used to emphasise just how good Livermore has been under Slaven Bilic this campaign.

It's clear to see that the former Spurs midfielder is a key cog in Albion's engine room, and that could suggest why they are now leading the league by four points.
