West Brom fans have been replying in their droves to a tweet posted by new fan favourite Kyle Edwards.

The youngster scored his first goal for the club on what was his first league start at the weekend, helping his side to a 1-0 win over Brentford. As a result, Baggies supporters have been left in awe of the 21-year-old as he ensured they made it back to back wins.

They congratulated him on his goal, praising the way he took it whilst also lauding the forward's attitude. Some individuals also offered him encouragement and claimed that they had full belief in their academy products.

One fan said he hoped to see the player start more regularly and judging by his relationship with caretaker manager James Shan, he should receive more first-team minutes in the coming games. His goal would have done wonders for both his future chances and confidence too.

Another supporter claimed he was underrated but one Baggie made it clear that he hoped Edwards didn't turn out like Saido Berahino, a player who was berated during his spell in the Midlands for having a poor mind set.

Edwards previously had a loan spell with Exeter, failing to find the net across 23 League Two appearances last term. However, he's had better fortunes this season, scoring five in eight in Premier League 2.

Here's what was said on Twitter.
