According to Sky Sports' Gianluca Di Marzio on Twitter, Ola Aina is signing for Italian side Torino on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea, and West Brom will regret not signing the young full-back.

What's the story?

Aina will become Chelsea's 13th player out on loan as the club continues their policy of buying up talent before sending them elsewhere to develop and gain first team minutes.

The 21-year-old spent last season in the Championship with Hull, in what was his first experience of men's football. An attacking right-back by trade, Aina impressed in England's second division, scoring one goal and providing three assists in 46 games in all competitions.

Earlier this month, The Express and Star reported that West Brom were battling Derby County for Aina's signature but it now seems as though both sides have missed out to interest from abroad.

Major mistake

Allan Nyom in action for West Brom against Bolton

Allan Nyom returned at right-back for West Brom on the weekend as Darren Moore's side recorded their first win of the Championship season with a 4-3 victory over Norwich. Manchester City loanee Tosin Adarabioyo had deputised in the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest during midweek.

Nyom looked cumbersome and slow though as Norwich's Onel Hernandez had a field day on the left-hand side at Carrow Road, suggesting that Moore should possibly have fought harder to bring Aina in to his squad.

As the Baggies aim for a return to the Premier League at the first time of asking they may still need to sign a more mobile right-back and central-midfielder to deal with the furious pace of the Championship.
