One of the biggest enjoyments for plenty of football fans when the fixture lists come out is to plan which games to attend.

However, those plans can be thrown up in the air when dates are changed for broadcasting reasons.

This week, West Bromwich Albion announced that their away trip to face Ipswich Town has been rearranged for Friday, November 23.

Also, their home clash against Aston Villa, who now have John Terry as assistant manager, has been moved to December 7.

The news of the newly-arranged Friday fixtures have not gone down well with supporters, as many will now have to alter their plans after buying a ticket.

The reason for the scheduling change is down to Sky Sports, who have picked up the pair for broadcasting.

At the moment, the Baggies are enjoying a positive run in the Championship as they sit second in the table, one point adrift of leaders Sheffield United after 12 games.
