West Bromwich Albion fans would love to scoop £10m for Hegazi

There has been plenty of change at West Bromwich Albion this summer following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.

Darren Moore has taken permanent charge of the Baggies and will lead them into the Championship season.

The club have already lost defenders Jonny Evans and Gareth McAuley, while Craig Dawson is also believed to be attracting interest.

If Hegazi departs, then West Brom will have sparse options at the back, but it seems that plenty of the club’s fans would welcome a sale.

According to the Express & Star, the 27-year-old is available to leave for £10m due to a release clause in his contract.

West Ham United are believed to be among a number of Premier League clubs interested in signing Hegazi.

If they manage to agree a sale, then the club would be making a huge profit given that they acquired him for £4.5m from Al Ahly.

After the reports emerged, West Brom fans took to Twitter.
