According to Portuguese outlet A Boga (via Sport Witness), Crystal Palace had scouts present to watch Rangers beat Braga in the second leg of their Europa League Round of 32 clash.

Steven Gerrard's men progressed into the last 16 with an aggregate score of four goals to two, having won the second leg 1-0 thanks to Ryan Kent's strike.

It has not been revealed who Crystal Palace were watching, although here are three players who should've caught the Eagles' attention with their impressive displays - excluding 20-year-old sensation Trincão, who has already agreed to join Barcelona.

Paulinho

The Portuguese centre-forward shone for Braga despite ending the game on the losing side.

Paulinho had four shots in total, but couldn't add to his impressive tally of 14 goals this season. However, he did hit the woodwork with a powerful header, striking the base of the post, while also winning four aerial duels. The 27-year-old's 14 goals have come in 28 appearances, averaging a goal every two games - his eye-catching display showed why he has been so effective.

Ianis Hagi

Despite missing a first-half penalty, Ianis Hagi was fantastic in Rangers' win over Braga.

It was the Romanian's excellent through ball which put Kent one-on-one for his goal, while he made two key passes, two tackles and completed one dribble on a fine evening for himself personally.

Hagi also took two shots himself, hitting the target with one of them.

Rangers have taken him on a six-month loan deal from Genk, although it is believed that the Gers can sign the classy attacking midfielder for around £4m.

Nuno Sequeira

The defensive-midfielder - who has an impressive seven assists this term - delivered a quality performance against Rangers despite being on the losing side.

Nuno Sequeira completed two tackles and made one interception, but also did well in a creative sense with a whopping five key passes to his name - no other player made more.

The 29-year-old also embarked on one dribble and was fouled on three occasions - surely, Crystal Palace scouts were drawn to his display.
