Roy Hodgson has hinted that Crystal Palace will make wholesale changes for the trip to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup on Friday night.

Luka Milivojevic remains a major doubt due to a back spasm, while Jeffrey Schlupp has been ruled out for three months after he sustained a hamstring injury against Sheffield United.

It's the perfect opportunity for the Palace boss to rest players like Christian Benteke, Vicente Guaita and Wilfried Zaha, with the latter having started every single one of his Premier League appearances (15) this season.

With that in mind, here is Football FanCast's predicted lineup for Palace's FA Cup clash with Wolves tonight, which sees Hodgson make nine changes to the team that beat the Blades.

6 ft 5 colossus Jack Butland should be handed his Palace debut, giving Guaita some brief respite before they take the trip to Arsenal next week.

Unfortunately for Hodgson, Gary Cahill and Scott Dann are unavailable for Friday and this means that there's only one other centre-back available for the game, with Mamadou Sakho given a rare chance at centre-back alongside James Tomkins. Patrick van Aanholt and Nathaniel Clyne will make up the rest of the back four.

Even with Hodgson rotating his squad, it's hard to imagine Eberechi Eze won't replace Schlupp on the left wing, having scored a wonderful solo goal against Sheffield United at Selhurst Park. Eze, 22, has bagged two goals and two assists in 16 appearances across all competitions for Palace this season, via Transfermarkt.

James McCarthy is set for a start in midfield, flanked by Jairo Riedewald and Andros Townsend either side of him.

Up front, Michy Batshuayi could play in the inside forward position again, with Jordan Ayew on the right; Wilfried Zaha won't be risked and there's no doubt Christian Benteke will be needed next weekend.
