The ever-reliable Wilfried Zaha then popped up with the winner after a superb passage of play to ensure that Patrick Vieira’s side would take the three points, which moves them up to tenth in the Premier League ahead of the rest of the midweek fixtures.

While Eze and Zaha both impressed again with their goals, Michael Olise was arguably running the show in the background, as the former Reading man produced another excellent display.

The young winger provided the assist for Eze’s equaliser with an inch-perfect cross – his second assist in the last two home games.

Crystal Palace beat Sheffield United in their first game of 2021, but what was the score?

“When you look at what he does in the final third. Go and do what you want. He is going to be somebody that is going to do unbelievable things.”

Now starring again, he’s also earning plaudits in 2022/23 with Squawka describing him as a “bright spark” after the game. It’s easy to see why that was the case, especially with the youngster now sitting only behind Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka for assists (7) by U21 players in the Premier League since the start of last term.

Olise is already starting to deliver in the Premier League aged just 20 and he does certainly look to have a massive future in this Crystal Palace side, especially after running the show at Selhurst Park on Tuesday night.
