Crystal Palace have been linked with a move for Napoli winger Hirving Lozano recently and the Mexico international could be the ideal man to replace Wilfried Zaha in Patrick Vieira's side.

Reports have suggested that Palace, along with West Ham, are interested in signing the former PSV Eindhoven man this summer, although it could be tough to prise him away from Napoli as club president Aurelio Di Laurentiis values Lozano at €30m (£25.4m).

While Vieira is currently well-stocked in the attacking department, there is concern that Zaha could still leave, with Chelsea the latest side said to be interested in signing the Ivory Coast international.

The 29-year-old has entered the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park and Vieira could look to sell him this summer, rather than potentially losing him for nothing at the end of this season.

If he were to leave, then the manager would need a goalscorer to replace him, especially as last season's second top scorer Conor Gallagher is also unlikely to return to Selhurst Park.

Lozano has shown in his time with PSV and Napoli that he can contribute effectively in attack, contributing 40 goals and 23 assists in just 79 appearances for the Eredivisie side before his move to Italy.

In his time in Naples, the 27-year-old has managed an impressive 43 goals and 31 assists in 149 appearances, so clearly knows where the back of the net is.

Last season saw the Mexican forward, who has "crazy" speed in the words of Gennaro Gatusso,  contribute five goals and five assists in 30 Serie A appearances, and only Gallagher and Zaha would register more goals and assists in the Premier League, so he could definitely add some quality to Vieira's side.

WhoScored suggests that Lozano's main strength is his finishing, while he loves to dribble and cut inside, so he could be a natural replacement for Zaha if he leaves, and the Eagles should definitely consider bringing the Napoli man in this summer.
