Despite helping fire Huddersfield to the top flight last season with ten goals in 43 outings, David Wagner’s latest comments – courtesy of The Huddersfield Daily Examiner – suggest Nahki Wells’ Huddersfield career could come to an end this summer.
Wagner has surprisingly hinted that Wells has slumped down the pecking order following the summer arrivals of two alternative strikers, even suggesting the club will listen to offers for the nine-cap Bermuda international.
With that in mind and considering Wells’ proven netting prowess in the Football League, we asked Leeds fans earlier this week whether their club should cross the Yorkshire divide and agree a transfer deal with their rivals for the 27-year-old’s services.
And although our poll showed a clear split in opinion, it appears the majority of Whites supporters – 57% – would back a swoop for Wells. Do you think Wells would make a good signing for Leeds? Let us know by commenting below…
