The summer transfer window hasn't officially opened yet but Liverpool are already making manoeuvres in the market according to reports from the Spanish press.

Indeed, Marca claim the Reds have seen a club-record €75million (£64.86million) bid for in-demand striker Kylian Mbappe rejected by Monaco, who value the teenager at in excess of €100million.

No doubt, the Frenchman has just come to the end of a phenomenal season, playing a huge part in Monaco lifting the Ligue 1 title and reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League by netting 24 times across all competitions.

Likewise, Liverpool are seemingly in need of another striker. Divock Origi is a decent but hardly world-beating option, whilst Daniel Sturridge's future remains unclear.

With that in mind, we asked Reds fans last week whether Liverpool should up their bid for Mbappe and although our poll was by no means conclusive, 59% think they should.

Would that be money well spent, or should Jurgen Klopp spread his budget elsewhere? Let us know by commenting below...
