Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been celebrating his one year anniversary since taking over at Old Trafford on this Bank Holiday weekend, however, he will still be fully aware just how much work he has to do.

The former Chelsea manager has picked up two major trophies in his first season at the Theatre of Dreams, the EFL Cup and Europa League, but knows all too well a similar season next time out will not be enough.

The latter of the two trophies ensured that the Red Devils would be back in the Champions League next season, however, in order to compete both at home and on the continent Mourinho needs to add depth this summer. Injuries this season have proved damning for his Premier League campaign as a series of weakened sides were sent out in the final weeks of the season in order to preserve a side for the Ajax final.

With the season out the way, the club officials can plough on with their business, and it seems further creative talent is on the wishlist this summer with both Ross Barkley and James Rodriguez linked, the former being rated at a whopping £50m by Premier League rivals Everton.

With that in mind, we put a poll out to United fans to find out who they would rather, Barkley or James, see lining up with Pogba & Co. next season, and it seems the Real Madrid man, rated at £42,5m, is the flavour of the month taking 68% of the vote.
