According to recent reports from The Independent, fears over the futures of starting XI regulars Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld and Kyle Walker have pushed Tottenham Hotspur towards a potential transfer swoop for Borussia Dortmund defender Matthias Ginter.
The 23-year-old has developed quite the reputation for himself since signing for the Black-Yellows in 2014, going on to feature prominently in a variety of roles across the midfield and defence and earn ten caps for a highly-competitive German national team.
Reportedly available for £15million, he seems like a sensible addition for the north London club, regardless of whether the aforementioned trio are still on the books come the end of the transfer window.
And the majority of Tottenham fans would appear to agree with that declaration. We asked them earlier this week whether they’d back a summer swoop for the versatile defender and according to our poll, a whopping 78% would.
Looks like it’s time for Mauricio Pochettino to get his chequebook out.
