Per the Daily Record, scouts from as many as 17 Premier League clubs could attend Celtic's Champions League clash with Bayern Munich this evening to run the rule over prodigious duo Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele.

The former appears to be of particular interest to Tottenham Hotspur, who are said to have watched him in action during the reverse fixture at the Allianz Arena earlier this month, and it certainly makes sense considering the doubts Danny Rose placed over his future back in the summer.

Aged just 20 and already showing enormous potential, the Scotland international certainly fits into Mauricio Pochettino's philosophy of developing young talent by giving them chances at first-team level.

But Manchester United have been mooted as potential suitors as well and they're arguably in greater need of a left-back with former winger Ashley Young occupying the role on the most-part this season.

Another concern for Tottenham is Tierney's potential price-tag. Transfermarkt value him at just £1.8million, but Celtic tied the youngster down to a six-year contract earlier this week.

So, Spurs fans, does your club need to beat Man United to Tierney's signature in January, or should Pochettino give the Scottish defender a wide berth?
