This weekend may well be the end of an era for Spurs. Barring a dramatic late twist, the last ever cup game Tottenham play at their White Hart Lane home will happen this Sunday, with the building of their new stadium set to see them spend time at Wembley as the transition is made.

The north London venue is, although not one of England’s most iconic settings, a ground steeped in history with a unique feel on matchdays and will be sorely missed by all associated with the Lilywhites, and, although they may not admit it, fans of other clubs too.
