HYS: Has Lukaku outgrown Everton?

An incredible 6-3 affair with Bournemouth at Goodison Park on Saturday may not have brought Everton any closer to a spot in the top six – still five points and six points behind sixth and fifth place respectively – but it did improve the standings of one individual in a different Premier League table.

Indeed, Romelu Lukaku was at his beastly best against the Cherries, netting four times to help secure all three points and to move himself one goal clear of the rest of the pack in the Premier League’s scoring charts, now boasting 16 for the campaign.

Of course, we all know how talented the Belgium international is, racking up a staggering 76 Premier League goals at just 23-years-of-age, but Saturday’s performance once again highlighted his world-class potential and current ability which, in truth, isn’t too far off such status anyway.

And although Everton are enjoying a relatively solid season under Koeman, in terms of quality, Lukaku’s starting to stick out like a sore thumb – just as he did on Saturday with that four-goal glut in a Man of the Match performance. With that in mind, there’s a common feeling that the former Chelsea youngster has outgrown the Toffees, suggesting he’ll move on in the summer.

But do you agree? Let’s hear your thoughts below…
