HYS: Is Iheanacho the answer to West Ham’s striker problems?

Whilst the Hammers have been using emergency options at No.2 practically all season, a dependency on Andy Carroll has been at the heart of the Irons’ inconsistency – winning just 26% of their games this term¬†without the towering striker in the starting XI.

According to ESPN, the east London club are already eyeing one potential solution in Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho, a talented striker who has seen his first-team role regress since Gabriel Jesus arrived at the Etihad Stadium in January.

City are reportedly ready to consider transfer bids above the £20million mark for the eight-cap Nigerian international, but Everton are also interested Рeyeing him as an ideal replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
