HYS: Is time up for Petr Cech at Arsenal?

Amid news he could be dropped this weekend, it feels as if Petr Cech has reached a crossroads in his Arsenal career.

Nobody can doubt the Czech shot-stopper’s quality and experience, but he’s not exactly improved Arsenal’s fortunes since arriving from Chelsea at the start of last season, this term¬†producing just seven clean sheets in 24 top flight outings.

And the 34-year-old committed an absolute howler last weekend, rubbing salt into Gunners wounds by accidentally passing the ball to a certain Cesc Fabregas, who chipped him for Chelsea’s third in a 3-1 win.

So with rumours rife that David Ospina could replace him for the Premier League clash with Hull City on Saturday, we’re keen to hear how Arsenal fans feel about their club’s usual No.1.

Do Arsenal need to find an upgrade on Cech this summer, or is he still the right man to hold down the role long-term? Let us know by taking part in the poll below…
