After a decent night's sleep, it's still hard to tell whether the 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium yesterday evening was a good or bad point for Manchester City.

On the one hand, City would have expected to produce a much more dominant performance and result during their first home game of the season, considering their eyes are firmly set on the title.

On the other, a shock red card for Kyle Walker put a monumental spanner in the works, City forced to play against an incredibly organised Everton side with ten men for nearly 50 minutes.

It was Raheem Sterling who managed to salvage a point for Pep Guardiola's boys, coming off the bench to provide a delicious finish to a loose ball in the box.

But in truth, City's usual suspects were pretty lively too; David Silva hit the woodwork, Sergio Aguero laid on four created chances for his team-mates, Kevin De Bruyne pulled the strings from midfield and Nicolas Otamendi was his usual action-packed self - even taking three shots at goal.
