Manchester United's Carabao Cup clash with Burton on Wednesday night represents an opportunity for Jose Mourinho to rotate a squad that has consistently convinced in the Premier League this season.

Key players will certainly feel they've earned a rest; the Portuguese's side have claimed 13 points from a possible 15 in the Premier League, recorded three 4-0 victories and conceded just two goals.

While Mourinho does have a variety of experienced players to choose from - United's first-team squad boasts some of the best depth in Europe - the early stages of the League Cup are traditionally seen as a chance to give promising youngsters the opportunity to impress.
