It's been a fantastic season at Celtic, one that could well end with them claiming the treble during Brendan Rodgers' first term in charge at Parkhead.

But the real challenge for the Scottish champions remains progress in Europe and although they gave a good account of themselves in the Champions League's Group Stages this season, Rodgers will be desperate for his side to progress to the knockout rounds next time around.

Thus, new recruits will be required this summer and one reportedly already on Celtic's radar is Sunderland forward Fabio Borini - as claimed by The Telegraph.

Rodgers knows the Italian well from his time as Liverpool manager and he could be available for just £6million following Sunderland's relegation, but Borini hasn't exactly impressed this term, scoring just twice in 21 Premier League outings.
