According to reports from The Telegraph, Atletico Madrid have asked to be kept informed of any developments regarding Diego Costa's switch to the Chinese Super League.

The Spain international once again played a pivotal role in Chelsea lifting the Premier League title this season but his future has been in doubt ever since a bust-up with Antonio Conte in January, apparently over the issue of transfer interest from the Far East.

The Telegraph believe a switch to China could be on the agenda once again this summer, but also report that former employers Atletico Madrid, who Diego Costa fired to the La Liga title before moving to Stamford Bridge, are interested in re-signing the 28-year-old.

That puts Chelsea in an incredibly strong position, with two clubs interested. Although they can't expect Atletico to match an offer from China, they can at least use interest in Costa to drive up the price.

But, the ultimate question remains whether Chelsea should actually cash in on their 25-goal assassin this summer. Let us know by voting below.
