HYS: Should Chelsea sign Jamie Vardy or Fernando Llorente?

With less than a week of the transfer window left to go, Chelsea still have some serious shopping to do.

The Blues looked vastly depleted of depth during the first two Premier League fixtures of the season, something that could cost them dearly as they attempt to defend the English title while remaining competitive in the Champions League.

And it appears another strike option is high on Antonio Conte’s agenda, with recent reports from The Telegraph claiming the Italian is keen to link up with 6 foot 4 Spain international Fernando Llorente, who netted 15 times for Swansea City last season.

However, just a matter of days ago the west London outfit were also linked with Leicester City front-man Jamie Vardy, who has started the new Premier League campaign with two goals in as many appearances.

It seems unlikely Chelsea will seal deals for both before next week’s transfer deadline. So, Blues fans, which striker would you prefer your club to sign – Llorente, who is valued by Transfermarkt at £5.4million, or the 16-cap England international? Let us know by voting below…
