According to reports from Mirror Football, Chelsea are ready to join the race to sign Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain alongside Liverpool and Manchester City.

That may come as a surprise to some Blues supporters; after all, the common consensus is that the 23-year-old hasn't reached the heights expected since arriving from Southampton as a youngster, and he only managed 16 Premier League starts last season.

But the end of 2016/17 highlighted how the 27-cap England international could be a useful asset in Antonio Conte's squad, performing exceptionally well at right wing-back to add to the vast number of roles he's already featured in for the Gunners.

So, Chelsea fans, should your club swoop for Oxlade-Chamberlain, who Transfermarkt value at £17millon, or leave it to Liverpool and Manchester City to battle it out for his services?
