HYS: Should Liverpool sign Mohamed Salah?

According to reports from The Daily Mail, Liverpool are ready to go again for 52-cap Egypt international Mohamed Salah after narrowly missing out on his services to Chelsea in January 2014.

The speedy wideman endured a troubled spell of limited opportunities at Stamford Bridge but has established himself as a top attacking talent elsewhere, enjoying an affluent spell at Fiorentina before going on to bag 27 goals over the last two-and-a-half campaigns with his current employers Roma.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to acquire another quick attacker this summer – perhaps a consequence of Liverpool’s struggles in Sadio Mane’s absences this season – and the 24-year-old seemingly fits the bill, not least because he can play out wide or centrally and offers an abundance of netting prowess.

Transfermarkt rate Salah at £25.5million but with two years left on his contract, Roma will likely feel they can charge a little more for the former Basel star.

So, Liverpool fans, would you back a summer swoop for Salah? Let us know by commenting below…
