Full-backs seem to be at the top of the agenda for Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola this summer.

The Etihad Stadium outfit have already released three of their full-backs - Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy - whilst Aleksandar Kolarov more commonly lines up at centre-half these days.

Likewise, dynamic, attacking full-backs are so important to how Guardiola wants his side to play, pushing up to add extra width in the middle-to-final third, so reports from Goal claiming he's eyeing both Ryan Bertrand and Benjamin Mendy as double-left-back additions are no great surprise.

Goal believe City are hopeful of signing both this summer so they can work together at the Etihad Stadium next season.

But the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry, or so the saying goes, so if City could only sign one this summer, who would you choose - the Champions League winning former Chelsea youngster or the two-cap Frenchman? Let us know by voting below...
