Goalkeepers have been a recurring point of discussion at Manchester City throughout the 2016/17 campaign - which started with Joe Hart being exiled to Torino on a season-long loan following the appointment of Pep Guardiola.

Since, Claudio Bravo and Willy Caballero have both proved themselves to be inadequate alternatives at the Etihad Stadium, racking up a catalogue of errors between them and not exactly delivering with the ball at feet either.

Hart's City departure will likely be made a permanent one this summer and rather intriguingly, The Independent have claimed he's open to signing for bitter rivals Manchester United, should they sell current No.1 David De Gea to Real Madrid.

Safe to say, it would be a pretty controversial move, having lifted two Premier League titles as City's resident shot-stopper, and although Hart is a talented goalkeeper, he's probably not quite in De Gea's calibre.

So, Red Devils fans, would you back a shock transfer swoop for Joe Hart this summer? Let us know by voting below...
