HYS: Should Spurs sign Sigurdsson or Barkley?

According to reports from The Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is considering re-signing Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson as a cheaper alternative to Ross Barkley.

The Argentine gaffer allowed Sigurdsson to leave for the Liberty Stadium during his first transfer window at White Hart Lane, but he’s since emerged as one of the most potent attacking midfielders in the division.

Indeed, the Iceland international has played a pivotal role in Swansea seeing off relegation this term, notching up nine goals and 13 assists in the Premier League.

Spurs are now planning a £25million bid for their former charger, whereas Everton value Barkley at double that sum, a whopping £50million.

But Barkley’s been in fine form this season too and has been on Tottenham’s radar for some time. So, Spurs fans, which attacking midfielder do you think your club should swoop for during the summer transfer window?
