HYS: Should Spurs swoop for Zaha after stealing the show vs Chelsea?

Crystal Palace’s visit to Stamford Bridge last Saturday was meant to be a routine win for Chelsea. A relegation-threatened side travelling to the home of the Premier League’s champions in waiting; all signs pointed to Antonio Conte’s boys maintaining their lead at the division’s summit.

But the beautiful game has a knack of going off script just when destiny appears decided and that was certainly the case in west London, as Sam Allardyce’s side claimed a shock 2-1 win and winger-forward Wilfried Zaha stole the show with a goal and an assist.

The Ivory Coast international’s performance levels have been up there with the best in the Premier League this season, especially when coming up against top six opposition – as shown by our infographic above.

Spurs are known long-term admirers of the 24-year-old and Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones claims they’ll be on the hunt for his services again this summer, but not every Tottenham fan has always been convinced by the idea of Zaha joining the ranks at White Hart Lane.

So, Spurs supporters, should Mauricio Pochettino swoop for the Palace talisman this summer? Let us know by voting below!
