The Arsenal meltdown could go nuclear this weekend if they are, against the odds, eliminated from the FA Cup by Lincoln City. The non-leaguers are by far the lowest ranked team left in the competition and booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the competition by knocking out Premier League opposition in the form of Burnley last time out, but to beat the Gunners is surely a bridge too far.
However, Arsenal are in crisis right now as the #WengerOut calls intensify and players are linked with exits on an almost daily basis in the wake of a 10-2 aggregate Champions League defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich.
Losing at the hands of Lincoln may well make Arsene Wenger’s position almost untenable, so surely he would not risk playing a weakened team at home to the Imps, or would he?
Here’s the question, then: Should Arsenal play a weakened team vs. Lincoln?
