HYS: Should West Ham drop Michail Antonio?

Criminal, unprofessional, inexcusable – just three words that describe what Michail Antonio did against Crystal Palace last weekend.

With stoppage time coming to an end and no defenders approaching him, the powerful winger found himself on the ball and charging towards the Eagles’ corner.

But instead of protecting the ball until the final whistle, which was a matter of second away, he bizarrely turned towards the box and whipped in a cross – which fell straight into the hands of the goalkeeper.

Moments later, Palace were up the other end of the pitch as Wilfried Zaha scored a last-second equaliser, squeezing a curling shot beyond Joe Hart’s grasp.

Some harsh words have no doubt been expressed to Antonio already by supporters and his team-mates.

But should Slaven Bilic go one step further and drop the wide-man, who has actually scored three goals in four appearances against Liverpool, when the Hammers host the Reds this Sunday?
