Competitively speaking, Everton have enjoyed a perfect start to the season thus far, winning all three of their Europa League qualifiers and their first Premier League clash, a 1-0 win over Stoke City at Goodison Park last weekend.

However, the Toffees face easily their biggest test yet this evening in the form of an ever-difficult trip to Manchester City, who kickstarted their top-flight campaign with a convincing 2-0 win over Brighton last Saturday following a summer of exciting recruitment.

"If we get a clean sheet on Monday I don’t know if it will be a miracle. Maybe it will but we do know we are strong defensively, our defensive organisation is strong. The key to getting a good result is what we do when we have the ball and that’s what our preparation will be about. You have different ways to play, we will look at the best way to get a good result."

Ronald Koeman has already said it would almost be a miracle for his side to claim a clean sheet at the Etihad Stadium, so it's vital the Dutchman gets his tactics spot on if Everton are to return to Merseyside with something from tonight's game.

That beckons the obvious question of how Koeman should set up his side. While 3-4-3 provided the 1-0 win over the Potters last weekend, the former Southampton boss switched back to his preferred 4-3-3 for the Europa League win against Hadjuk Split on Thursday.

So, Everton fans, which formation do you think Koeman should utilise this evening? Let us know by voting below...
