After the shock resignation of Leeds manager Garry Monk earlier this week, the odds are already out on who will be the man to replace the former Swansea City boss at Elland Road.

Monk - who many expected to remain at the helm of the club next season after guiding Leeds to a seventh placed finish this year - announced his departure from the club after only one season, stating he was unable to reach an agreement with new owner Andrea Radrizzani.

"It is with huge disappointment that my time at Leeds United has come to an end." Monk said in a statement released on his official Twitter account. "I saw myself at this fantastic club for many years to come. After discussions with the new owner, we have unfortunately been unable to agree a suitable way for us all to move forward together."

But Leeds are a huge club looking ahead to a new era, so plenty of exciting names have been thrown into the mix to take the Elland Road hot seat next, with Sky Bet giving out odds on a whopping 42 names.
