"Cafu linked with West Ham summer transfer."

What a headline that would have been in the early noughties. Unfortunately, it is not the Brazilian legend who is being linked with a summer move to West Ham nor is it 2002, but it is instead his namesake and countryman Jonathan Cafu - rumoured to be a £10.2million target for the Hammers ahead of the coming transfer window.

The flying Ludogorets winger has impressed since his move from Sao Paolo in 2015, scoring 21 times in just under 70 appearances for the Bulgarian side - including 14 goals this season.

It could be a South American takeover at the London Stadium this summer. As well as Brazilian Cafu, West Ham have also been strongly linked with Argentina international Pablo Zabaleta. The 32-year-old has spent nine seasons with City, making over 300 appearances and winning two Premier League titles, but his contract is about to expire.

It could be that both of the aforementioned players find themselves playing in claret and blue next season, but given the choice, who would you prefer West Ham fans? Attack or defence? Brazil or Argentina? Jonathan Cafu or Pablo Zabaleta?
