After narrowly missing out on the Championship play-offs, Italian businessman Andrea Radrizzani has completed his takeover of the Leeds United by purchasing a second 50% stake to take ownership from Massimo Cellino.

Leeds supporters will be hoping that after coming so close this season, the takeover will provide them with the financial backing to be able to go into next term and finally secure Premier League football for the first time since their relegation in 2004.

Among those who could be arriving at the club during the summer to help with such a pursuit is Brighton goalkeeper David Stockade, whose contract is on the verge of expiring. Leeds were linked with the 31-year-old in April and The Express believe recent Twitter activity has further hinted towards an Elland Road move.

Stockdale was a key member of Brighton's promotion-winning side, keeping 18 clean sheets in 45 Championship appearances this season. Leeds' very own veteran goalkeeper, however, 35-year-old Rob Green, didn't exactly have a bad season between the sticks either - the former 12-cap England international keeping 15 clean sheets from 46 outings.

Both capable 'keepers and both capable of taking Leeds towards the Premier League, but who should be Garry Monk's No.1 next season? Let us know by voting below...
