Europe is glistening with young stars at the moment. Manchester City's Leroy Sane is one of those having set the Etihad Stadium alight during the second half of the season. Renato Sanches is the Bayern and Portugal star setting pulses racing across the continent. Dortmund boast the flying winger Ousmane Dembele and Tottenham have the coveted Englishman Dele Alli at their disposal.

But one teenager on the lips of the whole of Europe is Monaco's Kylian Mbappe, who has set the Champions League alight with his five goals in Europe's elite competition this term.

Amongst those reportedly interested in the teenage sensation are Manchester United, who will be looking to strengthen during the summer after what has been an hit-and-miss season under manager Jose Mourinho.

United signed former Monaco wonderkid Anthony Martial for an astronomical fee only two summers ago, and while he had an excellent first season in English football, he has since struggled to make a real impact. Signing Mbappe, who is valued at just £8.5m by transfermarkt.com, could go one of two ways for the Red Devils: they could find themselves with one of the worlds hottest talents on their books, or over-spending on a yet generally unproven forward.
