With a new man in charge, Rangers look like embarking on a new era to try and catch bitter rivals Celtic at the summit of the Scottish Premiership. With the Bhoys closing in on six titles in a row, Pedro Caixinha has quite the job on his hands if he’s to do so.
Recruitment has been an issue for the Light Blues of late, with many of Mark Warburton’s signings failing to work out as hoped and the squad retaining a relatively unbalanced look. As the Ibrox faithful bay for big name new arrivals, the Gers have things to prove on the transfer front indeed.
Having said that, perhaps a look to the Football League would be a wise avenue to explore. Rangers are unlikely to have a huge amount of money to spend, well outside of Scotland, so exploring the Championship could present value for money.
