Everton are just six Premier League games away from having what could be the biggest and most significant disaster the club has seen during Farhad Moshiri's ownership of the Toffees.

With only 29 points on the board from 32 league games, the Merseyside club are on the edge of being relegated down to the Championship.

As well as this potential blow, it seems as though the Toffees could be in danger of seeing one of their key players wave goodbye to Goodison Park in the upcoming summer transfer window.

What's the talk?

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, journalist and transfer insider Dean Jones had this to say about the summer window and what it could hold for Everton attacker Richarlison, in particular.

He said: "I think Arsenal definitely have a possibility of signing Richarlison.

"They know that he could leave Everton and is likely to leave Everton in the summer. They’ve been offered the chance to sign him."

The Toffees signed the Brazilian back in the 2018 summer transfer window from Watford in a deal worth £50m.

Moshiri disaster

Since being signed the attacker has gone on to make 147 appearances for the Merseyside club across all competitions.

In those appearances, he's managed to rack up 50 goals and provide 13 assists along the way, highlighting how much of an important attacking figure he's been for the team.

To highlight how significant the 24-year-old has been in this difficult season for the club, only Demarai Gray has had more shots at goal and only Anthony Gordon has had more shots at goal than Richarlison.

In addition to his attacking prowess, his overall performances have put him head and shoulders above anyone else at the club, with WhoScored listing him as Everton's highest-rated player for the campaign.

Taking all of this into account, not only would it be a disaster to potentially see the club get relegated, but it would also be disheartening for everyone at Goodison if Richarlison were to leave in the summer.

As if the Toffees needed anymore motivation to try and stay in the Premier League, the Brazilian's future in Merseyside should also give them more reason to do all they can to avoid the drop.
