With another international break looming, Premier League fans everywhere will be looking to fill their time with another form of entertainment this weekend.

Luckily, ITV's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here returns this Sunday, a show that has seen a number of former Premier League players star in recent years.

Now in it's 18th series, the show has had eight Premier League stars in it, with former player and manager Harry Redknapp the latest to sign up.

How will the former Tottenham Hotspur boss get on compared to his fellow footballers? Find out how they fared in TV's scariest reality show.

John Fashanu

When Fashanu entered the jungle in 2003 for the second series of the show, he was already well known in the entertainment industry for his work on Gladiators.

He was the first footballer to enter the jungle.

Fashanu threw himself into the challenge and even managed to conquer his fear of heights during one of the bushtucker trials.

The former Wimbledon man is technically the best forming footballer on the show, as he finished second behind cricketer Phil Tufnell.

Neil Ruddock

Larger than life, Neil 'Razor' Ruddock was perfect for the jungle with his no care attitude and humorous nature.

The former West Ham man had only retired a year earlier when he appeared in the 2004 series.

Like John Fashanu, he threw himself into almost every challenge and struck up an unlikely relationship with Lord Brocket and Peter Andre.

Unfortunately, the British public didn't think so and he was voted off the show in 7th place.

Rodney Marsh

In a bid to rebuild his career after he was sacked by Sky Sports in 2005 for making a joke about the 2004 Asian Tsunami, Marsh entered the jungle in the same year.

Controversial Marsh didn't get on well with his campmates and came across childish and was lamented for making sexist jokes during his stay.

Because of this he was voted off the show in fifth and has since gone on to star in Celebrity Come Dine With Me and Celebrity Coach Trip.

Jimmy Bullard

When Jimmy Bullard entered the jungle in 2014 many believed that he was one of the favourites to go on to win it.

Bullard, who like Dyer had a career plagued with injuries has always been known as one of the charismatic characters on and off the football pitch.

Fans were then shocked to see that the former Hull City and Fulham midfielder lost the first public vote and left the show first.

Since then Jimmy has gone to work in TV and is currently one of three co-hosts on Sky Sports' SoccerAm.

Kieron Dyer

Former Newcastle and West Ham midfielder Kieron Dyer entered the jungle in 2015 having retired from the game in 2013.

Dyer went into the jungle with the producers expecting him to lift the lid on his career that was plagued with injuries and what really happened between him and Lee Bowyer.

What producers got was an emotional Dyer who even threatened to quit after a row with Lady Campbell.

Dyer eventually finished fourth and reportedly donated his full appearance fee to the June Brady Foundation.

Wayne Bridge

Just two years after retiring, Wayne Bridge entered the Australian jungle for the 16th series of the show in 2016.

He was paid £150,000 for his appearance on the show.

The former Chelsea and Man City left-back finished the series in fifth, in the year that was dominated by reality TV royalty Scarlett Moffatt.

Fans were expecting him to lift the lid on the scandal involving John Terry and his former girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel, all they found out is he has a fear of goats.

Dennis Wise

Chelsea hard-man Dennis Wise entered the jungle last year and was paid just £25,000 to appear on the show.

His fee was ten times less than fellow campmate former Olympic champion Amir Khan.

Wise was involved in a lot of controversy during his time in the jungle and was even accused of bullying.

The former Chelsea man was perceived to be treating radio DJ Iain Lee unfairly throughout the series.

Rebekah Vardy

As well as Dennis Wise, Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy's wife Rebekah entered the jungle last year, a decision that confused many fans of the show.

Famous for purely being a footballers' wife she often spoke about how she didn't 'deserve' to be there.

Fans obviously agreed and she was voted out in 9th position, but she still took home an estimated £100,000 appearance fee.

Harry Redknapp

With the eighteenth series just days away, Premier League boss Harry Redknapp has been named as one of the ten contestants who will be entering this year.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton boss, who is a current BT Sport pundit, last managerial job was with Birmingham City in 2017.

It is reported that he will receive £500,000 for his appearance, the largest sum in the history of the show.

Meaning if he was to be voted out first, he would have earned more than Tottenham's Harry Kane for the same period of time.

Robbie Savage

After retiring in 2008, Robbie Savage has carved out a relatively successful media career.

In 2011 he finished sixth in Strictly Come Dancing and has been rumoured for years that he would try the jungle too.

The former Wales captain has always denied it.

He did reveal in his podcast that he was once asked by a former manager to 'get in the jungle' for a few months when he wasn't needed by his team!
