The footballing world was shocked by not one, not two but three moments off the pitch on Saturday.

Firstly former England player and manager Glenn Hoddle was rushed to hospital following a collapse in the BT Sport studio. It was announced later that he had suffered a massive heart attack and his condition was serious.

Then, before kick-off in the Brighton v Wolves game at the Amex Stadium, an elderly home supporter was taken ill and later died in hospital.

But unfortunately that wasn't the only tragic news, as after the Leicester City v West Ham game, foxes owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, two of his staff and two pilots lost their lives in a horrific helicopter accident.

On a weekend when the football results almost became insignificant, we take a look back at the big talking points from Gameweek ten of the Premier League season.

Milivojevic Redemption

Last week Luka Milivojevic was the Crystal Palace villain after missing a late penalty in his side's loss to Everton at Goodison Park.

This week he was offered two opportunities to redeem himself from the spot, chances he took as his two goals helped rescue the Eagles a point against in form Arsenal.

Firmino Backheel

They were everybody's betting banker and Liverpool delivered with a dominant performance and 4-1 win over Cardiff.

He may not have got on the scoresheet himself by Roberto Firmino was on top form, his backheel nutmeg while on the floor was incredible!

Deandre Yedlin's Nose

Newcastle aren't exactly enjoying their start to the Premier League season and their search for a first Premier League win goes on after drawing blank against Southampton.

It was a seriously bad day for defender DeAndre Yedlin who suffered a blow to the nose and had to play the rest of the game looking like this!

Wolves New Line-Up

For the first time this season, Nuno Espirito Santo made a change to his starting eleven.

In an aim to get back to winning ways, the Wolves boss brought in Adama Traore for Diogo Jota.

Hoddle Collapse

As mentioned former England boss and player Glenn Hoddle was taken ill on Saturday before his shift working as part of the BT Sport Score team.

It is believed a member of the camera crew was on hand with a defibrillator to save his life.

Hoddle, 61, is thought to be out of intensive care and still responding to treatment at time of writing.

Callum Wilson On Fire

Wilson continued his incredible early season form with two more goals this weekend as Bournemouth ran out 3-0 winners at Fulham's Craven Cottage.

The forward who is yet to be given an England call-up surely must be on Gareth Southgate's mind, considering he has five goals and four assists already this season.

Fraser Flying

Thanks to their win at Craven Cottage, Bournemouth have made their best start to a Premier League season in their history.

Largely thanks to the form of Callum Wilson but also to the 'assist king' Ryan Fraser, whose two assists were his fourth and fifth of the season, the best in the league.

Glenn Murray Also On Fire

Another Englishman who has made an impressive start to the season, Glenn Murray, was also on target as Brighton beat Wolves 1-0.

The 35-year-old's goal was his 100th for Brighton in front of a record attendance at the Amex Stadium (30,654).

Brighton Fan Death

Unfortunately it wasn't all good news for Brighton on Saturday, as after being taken ill before kick-off, one of their fans sadly died at the local hospital.

The elderly gentleman who hasn't been named, was in attendance with his son but passed away at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

Hand Of Lacazette

Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's strike partnership has been impressive this season with the pair scoring 11 goals between them.

But Aubameyang's goal against Crystal Palace really shouldn't have counted, because he was assisted by Lacazette's hand.

Palace would have felt let down by the officials but as they say in football, it all adds up in the end...

Got A Hold Of Holding

In the build up to their first equaliser, Crystal Palace's Jordan Ayew was accused of not only holding but ripping Rob Holding's shirt.

To be fair, you can't really get more conclusive evidence than this image.

Fulham's Woes Continue

Soccer Football - Premier League - Fulham v AFC Bournemouth - Craven Cottage, London, Britain - October 27, 2018 Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic looks dejected after the match REUTERS/Eddie Keogh EDITORIAL USE ONLY. Callum Wilson's goals helped condemn Fulham to their fourth straight defeat and make Slavisa Jokanovic the bookmakers' favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked.

The Serbian looked a forlorn figure on the touchline at Craven Cottage.

Noble Red Card

West Ham captain Mark Noble has a reputation of being a firm but fair kind of footballer in the middle of the park.

But on Saturday night, referee Michael Oliver deemed his challenge far too firm and he was sent off with his team trying to consolidate a 1-0 lead.

It was his first red card for just over three years.

Leicester Helicopter Crash

Just an hour after the final whistle Mark Noble's red card and the resulting 1-1 draw became insignificant, when we saw the distressing images of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's helicopter crashed down in the club car park.

Rumours circulated on social media about who was on board and were there any survivors, it was just over 24 hours later that Leicester City announced the sad news of their chairman and his crew's passing.

Black Armbands

Following the tragic scenes on Saturday night, there were more Premier League games on Sunday, with all three matches observing a minute's silence before kick-off.

Players from all six teams wore black armbands too.

Wembley Pitch

On Monday night, Spurs hosted Man City at Wembley, because their stadium still isn't ready.

However, because of the NFL London series, the game was played 24 hours after the Jacksonville Jaguars v Philadelphia Eagles game, meaning the pitch looked like this.

Considering it's look, both teams played well on the pitch and produced a quality game of football, good job it didn't rain, there was hardly any grass in some areas!

Mahrez Tribute

After opening the scoring on Monday, Riyadh Mahrez pointed to the sky in celebration with many believing it was a tribute to Leicester City chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Mahrez joined Srivaddhanaprabha's Leicester in 2014 and was an integral part of the team that won the Premier League.

In an emotional interview after the game he said:

"The boss (Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha) was very special to me. I spent four and a half years there.

"I have many memories of him. He was such a good person; a good human."

Winter Ball

This weekend saw the introduction of the winter ball for the coming months.

The ball isn't actually supposed to be used until the clocks go back for the end of British Summertime, but as that was Saturday night/Sunday morning, clubs were able to use the ball for Gameweek ten.

Pogba's Penalty

Pogba was grabbing the headlines once again with his penalty taking technique this weekend.

He took 10 seconds to step-up and take his spot-kick which he eventually missed, but scored the rebound.

Interesting to think according to the rules he is perfectly entitled to do it, but had a goalkeeper taken 10 seconds to take a goal kick in the 94th minute, would he be booked for time-wasting?

For more context, Usain Bolt can run 100m quicker than it takes Pogba to take a penalty!
