18th - Sergio Aguero
The Argentine may have had a World Cup to forget but his Premier League form has been brilliant.

17th - Gareth Bale
Largely thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo, the Welshman doesn't seem to get the plaudits he deserves.

15th - Kevin De Bruyne
De Bruyne won another Premier League medal with Man City and reached the World Cup semi-final with Belgium.
Unfortunately for him he has been plagued with knee injuries towards the end of the year , but is still highly rated by FIFA in 15th.
The Belgian midfielder is 19th in the People's rankings.
14th - Alexis Sanchez
The Chilean has had an turbulent start to his Manchester United career, with 2018 seeing play a bit-part role at Old Trafford.
Incredibly despite this, FIFA have him as the 14th best player in the world, the People have him as 26th.
13th - Gianluigi Buffon
At the tender age of 40, Gianluigi Buffon is still at the top of his game, having made his move to PSG this summer.

Spaniard David De Gea is arguably the best goalkeeper in the Premier League and has been for many years.

The biggest shock of the lot is that Gonzalo Higuain is in the top 10 according to FIFA.
At 30-years-old the Argentine still has a few years left in him, but according to the People have him down in 64th!
9th - Toni Kroos

The 32-year-old divides opinion especially between FIFA (7th) and the People (21st).
6th - Robert Lewandowski
When it comes to form for Bayern Munich, it's hard to argue with Robert Lewandowski's record, 166 goals in 211 appearances is one of the best in Europe.
He's 6th best according to FIFA, the People believe his worthy of 9th.
5th - Manuel Neuer
Since Germany's World Cup win, Manuel Neuer has been FIFA royalty and is regarded as the best goalkeeper in the world.
FIFA rank him as the 5th best player in the world, whereas the People feel his one better in fourth.

FIFA rate him as the fourth best player in the world, the People have him as 5th.
3rd - Neymar
Neymar is the one player that both FIFA and the People agree on.
The PSG star is the most expensive player in football history but he hasn't got a patch on the following two players.

No Mohamed Salah
Despite winning the Premier League golden boot and arguably being the best player in the league last season, there is no space in the top 20 for Mo Salah.
The Liverpool forward had a disappointing World Cup with Egypt, but his league form should have put him up there amongst the best!
There is also no place for this Ballon d'Or winner.
No Mbappe
Possibly the most talked about teenager in world footballer is also left out!
PSG's Kylian Mbappe will surely break into the top 20 in the future, he's got plenty of time, he's only 19!
