With the Premier League pausing for an international break next week, this weekend was our last chance to get our domestic league fix and it once again didn't disappoint.

From tantrums and upsets to political hand gestures and silver linings, the Premier League proved why it is the best and most entertaining league in the world, with another jam-packed game week.

This week's action saw 27 goals scored and three teams continue their 100% record, but what about the moments you missed?

We've put together all the talking points from the weekend so you are right update with all the action, before the start of the international break.

Alexis Sanchez Strop

Despite assisting Lukaku for United's opener at Turf Moor, Alexis Sanchez found himself substituted in the 60th minute.

With United cruising against Burnley who once again showed signs of suffering with a Europa League hangover, Sanchez was gutted when his number came up to be replaced by Marcus Rashford.

As he took his seat, the Chilean unravelled his wrist straps before angrily chucking them to the floor.

Elton John's Celebrations

Both Watford and Tottenham went into the Super Sunday fixture with 100% records, but it would be the Hornets who would stretch there's to a fourth game unbeaten, with a 2-1 win.

The atmosphere at Vicarage Road as the hosts completed their comeback was incredible, especially in the executive seating, where Sir Elton John and his sons were seen jumping for joy.

Pogba's Washbag

Paul Pogba is the gift that keeps on the giving. There isn't a Gameweek that goes by without the Frenchman hitting the headlines for something that isn't football related.

This week saw the World Cup winner arrive at Turf Moor with a washbag with his own face on it!

Juan Mata In The Away End

Juan Mata once again was left out of Jose Mourinho's squad for the trip to Burnley, but the Spaniard still made the trip.

Fans were pleasantly surprised to see the midfielder in his United tracksuit sat in the away end amongst them. Fair play.

Sky Sports' Ndidi Error

It is referred to as the 'early kick-off' but Sky Sports' 12:30 Saturday fixture is hardly at the break of dawn, so whoever accidentally placed a Niger flag under Wilfried Ndidi's name can't blame tiredness.

They obviously didn't see him play for Nigeria in Russia this summer.

Rwanda Vs Malaysia

Fancy a holiday? You could have been forgiven for being tempted to book one to either Rwanda or Malaysia while watching Cardiff City host Arsenal on Sunday.

Milner's Assist

James Milner equalled David Beckham's assist record on Saturday when he set up Roberto Firmino for Liverpool's second.

The 32-year-old's cross was his 80th assist in the Premier League, making him joint sixth in the all time stats alongside Becks.

Alisson's First Mistake

Liverpool fans thought they had seen the last of goalkeeping errors when they signed Alisson Becker for £56 million this summer. They were wrong.

Although it didn't cost his team the game and he more than made up for it with a string of good saves, the Brazilian's questionable footwork saw him robbed of the ball in his own area, gifting Leicester a lifeline.

Mourinho Thanking Fans Again

After his very weird clapping at the fans at Old Trafford on Monday, Jose Mourinho was at it again at Turf Moor.

This time he had a gift in the form of his jacket for one lucky fan, as the travelling support sang his name.

Is Jose being genuine or is  purely doing this to show his employers that the fans on his side?

Son Avoids Military Service

Tottenham may have suffered their first defeat of the season, but there was really only one result the mattered to the majority of the Spurs faithful, South Korea 2 - Japan 1.

The result saw the Heung-min Son's South Korea crowned Asian Games champions, meaning the whole squad avoids the compulsory 21 months military service every man must do before their 28th birthday.

At 26, this was the Spurs midfielder's last chance at exemption.

Woodward A Specialist In Failure

United fans are obviously unhappy with the start their team have made to the season, especially after the loss to Tottenham last Monday.

But was paying for a banner to be flown above Turf Moor saying 'Ed Woodwards- A Specialist in Failure' necessary?

Danny Ings Bet With Salah

After scoring his second goal of the season for Southampton, Danny Ings revealed he has a wager with former team mate Mo Salah this season.

Although their is no money involved, he revealed that he and the Egyptian have made the wager on who will score the most goals this season.

He said:

“I wouldn’t be stupid enough to put any cash on it! It’s just a bit of banter. People would think I’m mad to take on that bet if there was cash involved. He proposed it on messages when I left.”

Kyle Walker Scored

The England right-back isn't exactly the most prolific goalscorer with just four goals in 229 appearances for Tottenham and up until this weekend, none for in 52 for Man City.

But when he does score, it's usually a screamer and he's effort against Man City was certainly that. From at least 30-yards, Walker's effort rocketed into the corner of the Martin Dubravka's net.

Watford/Leicester Revelation

At the weekend not only did Watford making it four wins in four, their best ever start to a Premier League season, but they also got many talking about their title chances.

You may think it's ridiculous to start talking about the Hornets winning it, but one stat is in their favour.

In the 2014/15 season, the year before Leicester City won the title, the Foxes finished 14th on 41 points with a record of 11 wins, 8 draws and 19 losses....

Guess what Watford did last year....

Mustafi Celebration

After putting his side 1-0 up against Cardiff on Sunday, Shkodran Mustafi performed the controversial 'double eagle' celebration that caused controversy at the 2018 World Cup, and could face disciplinary action.

Mustafi, whose parents were born in Albania ran towards his team mate Granit Xhaka who was fined $10,000 for using the celebration in Russia.

The celebration is to symbolic to the people of Albania and is in reference to the countries independence from Serbia in 2008.
