With the 2018/2019 season fast drawing to a close across Europe, many sides are already turning their attention towards the 2019/2020 campaign.

Kits for the new season are designed as far out as 18 months before the start of the season they're intended for and approved soon after, giving them plenty of time to get leaked to the press.

And with '19/20 just a couple of months away, this has already happened with the top European clubs, including some of those in the Premier League - the most competitive league in the world.

Some strips are simply stunning and others are just revolting. With this in mind, we've compiled a gallery of the most significant leaked and officially-released shirts from around the continent for you and we'll continually update this article once new ones come to light, so stay tuned for more in the coming months...

Southampton 2019/2020 home

The away kit of Ralph Hassenhuttl's Southampton was unveiled alongside the home stripe in the week after 2018/2019's conclusion and it's an absolute stunner.

Under Armour have really pulled something off here, a dark grey centre with yellow and black trim on the sleeves and a yellow band featuring dark grey stripes along the upper section, with also includes a nifty one-button collar. All complemented nicely by a new LD Sports sponsorship banner in the middle.

Crystal Palace 2019/2020 home

As worn by Roy Hodgson's players in the final-day thriller against AFC Bournemouth at Selhurst Park, this is the Crystal Palace's home kit for the 2019/2020 season.

As you can see, the club have finally abandoned the baffling yellow trim that has adorned some of their home shirts in recent years, opting instead for a more traditional white. Apart from this, there's little else to note about the strip, which displays the trademark blue and red stripes.

Leicester City 2019/2020 home

This official image shows Demarai Gray, Harvey Barnes, Hamza Choudhury and Ben Chilwell wearing Leicester City's 2018/2019 home shirt, made by Adidas and released in early May.

Whilst the gold stripes are a little arrogant considering the Foxes weren't Premier League champions this season - forget about 2015/2016 - the chequered design is pleasing.

It certainly gives the rather drab blue season-in-season out home shirt a little more excitement, coupled with the gold stripes running from the neck all the way down the sleeves.

Juventus 2019/2020 home

This official image of the Adidas Juventus home strip for next campaign has been released by the Italian powerhouses this month and it's certainly something out-of-the-ordinary.

The Old Lady have completely abandoned their traditional black and white stripes, instead opting for a half black, half white design with a bizarre pink stripe running down the middle.

Whilst the effort to produce something a bit different has to be appreciated here, it looks like a bit of mismatch, just look at the sleeves, they need to be swapped around to make this jersey anything close to bearable.

Liverpool 2019/2020 home

Liverpool are one of the many clubs to have already officially unveiled their new home kit for the 2019/2020 term, although it isn't yet on sale.

The Reds have deserted the collar of 2018/2019 in their home shirts for next season, opting for a traditional dark red design with thin white stripes going downwards from the top, inspired by Bob Paisley's era.

It's interesting to note the yellow New Balance logo and Liverpool badge, perhaps intended to match gold Premier League badges on the sleeves. We won't be seeing them there.

Southampton 2019/2020 home

Southampton are really catching the eye in terms of their kits for next season and why not? It could be a big campaign for the Saints - the first full term under Hasenhuttl after the Austrian has enjoyed a full transfer window to make the squad his own.

Their home shirt is just as attractive as the aesthetically-pleasing away equivalent, sporting a similar design but intertwined with the club's usual home colours of red, white and black. Plaudits to Under Armour once again.

Leicester City 2019/2020 away (1)

Leicester City's 2019/2020 first away kit is a bold move by the Foxes, released in the last couple of days along with the second away kit following the unveiling of the home kit.

Using the same design as Germany's 2018 FIFA World Cup home kit, the strip is an out-there pink and black, a far cry from the safe white, grey and red away kits of recent times at the King Power Stadium.

It also features a three-toned stripe across the upper middle section with a trademark Adidas black stripe across the shoulders. This is a delicious shirt but the Midlands club will be hoping for better fortunes wearing it than the Germans in Russia last summer.

Manchester United 2019/2020 home

The fact that Manchester United have decided to honour their 1999 Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FA Cup treble with their 2019/2020 home kit, unveiled in mid-May, is cringey beyond belief.

The fact that the design, with a darkened Adidas and United badge, is unpleasant makes it even worse, clashing with the Chevrolet and Kohler sponsorship emblems.

Dates of the three cup final wins and the minutes of the goals scored in the Champions League final win over Bayern Munich are also included and make for a shirt that Red Devils will probably love and everyone else will probably hate.

Chelsea 2019/2020 home

The 2019/2020 Chelsea home kit, featured in the above official image, is absolutely disgusting stuff from Nike, who have failed massively in giving the Blues a suitable home shirt.

The print that covers the whole of the jersey is supposed to be inspired by the architecture of Stamford Bridge but has ended up looking more like a child's scribbles.

It's a nice thought that the manufacturer had the West Londoners' famous old home ground in mind when designing the kit, though a plain rush blue strip would have been much better.

Leicester City 2019/2020 away (2)

After blinding performances in the home and first away kits for next season at Leicester City, Adidas have let the side down a little with the Foxes' second away strip.

An official photo of the top was released after a club shoot ahead of the new campaign, a black and white design as opposed to the blue and gold and pink and black of the home and other away shirts.

In comparison, this one is just bland and a little bit too simplistic for an away kit with a basic black centre alongside white stripes and trim. A boring jersey for the road.

AFC Bournemouth 2019/2020 home

There's no wavering from tradition for AFC Bournemouth when it comes to the kit they will turn out in at the Vitality Stadium in '19/20 with the customary black and red stripes.

However, the Umbro design does feature revolutionary subtle and thin diagonal stripes within the red stripes on the front and back. The larger stripes don't continue on the sleeves as they are all cherry red.

Roma 2019/2020 home

We haven't seen anything different from Serie A side Roma in the new season in terms of their new home kit, unveiled to the eager Italian fanbase in the last week.

The official picture of the shirt shows a classic dark red tone all over and a white sponsorship banner in the middle for Qatar Airways.

However, what is different this time around is the bottom of the sleeves and neck area, adorned with a yellow and dark red lightning pattern. Simple but brilliant with streaks of flair from Nike.

Arsenal 2019/2020 away

As it seems from this leaked image of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang modelling it, Arsenal are taking inspiration from the early 1990s for next campaign's away kit.

The first design of the Adidas era for on the road is a throwback to the iconic "bruised banana" look that divided fans so much back in the day. The shade of yellow can't be missed and is flanked by black trim and sponsorship and manufacturer badges. Make what you will of it.

Newcastle United 2019/2020 home

Images of Newcastle United's 2019/2020 home shirt have surfaced online in recent weeks and following Puma's shocking performance with the away kit, members of the Toon Army will not be best pleased.

Instead of the normal thin black and white stripes, there's two chunkier white stripes with a thinner black one in the centre. The Puma emblem is bizarrely above the centre-aligned badge in the middle and to top it all off, the jersey has all black back. Simply horrendous.

Liverpool 2019/2020 away

Sticking with the Premier League and the leaked away shirt of the record-breaking runners up for next term, Liverpool, by New Balance in their final year of producing the Reds' kits.

Whilst Jurgen Klopp's men may continue to exude class on the pitch, the only classy thing about this jersey is Bob Paisley's signature on the inside at the back. This kit is just dull - there's nothing exciting about white with navy trim and a random patch of red low on the sleeve.

Juventus 2019/2020 third

According to the above mock-up of their leaked '19/20 third kit, Italian giants Juventus will be going unity blue and aero blue next campaign.

And this strip is certainly one befitting of a team that have just wrapped up the Serie A title for the eighth successive time - it's also something completely different from the khaki-like third kit of 2018/2019. The only similarity being the continuation of Adidas and Jeep as partners.

Tottenham Hotspur 2019/2020 home

Tottenham Hotspur may have one of the biggest names in world sport in the form of Nike manufacturing their kits, but some of them aren't half underwhelming and next season's leaked home strip is no different.

The shirt displays a plainer and cleaner overall look from that of the campaign before, however, it's just too much and makes for a very boring spectacle. The base is plain white with navy trim and a fairly standard near crew neck at the top. The most exciting thing is the red AIA sponsorship logo.

Juventus 2019/2020 away

It looks like Adidas have produced probably the sexiest away kit in our list of the best and worst kits ahead of the 2019/2020 season if this leak is anything to go by.

The primary colours are raw white and hi-res red, an almost orangey shade, and couldn't work better together. The jersey is unsurprisingly the centrepiece overall with a simple but effective white base, red sponsor, manufacturer and team badges and fitting gold stripes and trim. The Old Lady deserve to finally conquer Europe with this strip.

Newcastle United 2019/2020 away

This horrendous specimen is the leaked Newcastle United 2018/2019 away kit and if Rafa Benitez ends up staying for anything at St. James' Park, it won't be this.

Whilst the design inspired by the roof of the Magpies' famous old ground is commendable, that's the only nice thing about the Puma strip.

With navy trim, it is a gut-wrenching orange with lighter shades of the colour all over and unlike anything we've seen from the north-east side in recent times.

Real Madrid 2019/2020 third

The third kit of the Spanish giants one of the three kits to have been leaked and will for another season be made by German supplier Adidas.

Real Madrid are clearly following a number of their European rivals in producing something very different for their third strip next season.

The shirt is green with navy and white trim and stripes on the bottom of the sleeves and shoulders, also featuring a fancy v-neck and overall, is rather aesthetically pleasing.

Arsenal 2019/2020 home

A fairly simple design for the Gunners this time around as they make the bold leap from Puma back to Adidas after five years of the kit supplier and this image of Alexandre Lacazette sporting the new home shirt has been leaked.

The deal, starting next season and ending in five years' time, was said to be worth £300 million, but Arsenal's leaked first Adidas home shirt since 1994 looks more like a £3 creation.

To put it plainly, rather like this strip, the kit is just boring with the trademark red all over and dull white sleeves, none of the exciting stripes or effects of the Puma era just a V-neck. Dull and ineffective - much like the club's defence this season.

Paris Saint-Germain 2019/2020 home

This leaked image of the new Paris Saint-Germain home kit made by Nike is dashing and continues the manufacturer's up-and-down form in next season's kits league.

This certainly is the jersey of the champions of France and is inspired by the 2006/2007 home strip, the traditional midnight navy base being spiced up with a delightful swoosh pattern.

Two white stripes centred by a red one run down the centre of the shirt which also has an almost v-neck design, the plain sleeves and shoulder area are subtle but terrific. The jersey also signals the end of the Emirates and start of the Accor Live Limitless era.

Barcelona 2019/2020 away

According to the leaked design, the FC Barcelona 2019/2020 away shirt will take inspiration from away kits of the 1970s, 1980s and 2000s.

Mainly from the one Johan Cruyff famously wore during his time at Camp Nou, a yellow base with a red and blue stripe, featuring the home shades of the colours, running diagonally. However, the difference this time will be the direction the two-toned stripe goes in, from right to left instead of left to right.

And after their disaster with the home kit, Nike have pulled a real screamer of a shirt out of the bag this time. What a kit.

Borussia Dortmund 2019/2020 UEFA Champions League

The leaked Borussia Dortmund 2019/2020 UEFA Champions League shirt is a thing of pure beauty and members of the Yellow Wall will in all likelihood be upset that they will only get to see it in Europe's premier domestic competition.

Featuring Puma's new rocket-like logo which we've seen a couple of times already in the leaked kits, it is two different colours with the usual cyber yellow for the bottom three quarters and black design for the top quarter.

Printed within that darker area is a pattern inspired by the design of Signal Induna Park, with both supplier and club badges matching the lower part and an eye-catching purple Evonik logo to boot. Puma, bravo.

Roma 2019/2020 away

Some of the Nike leaked kits for next season may be utter dirt but when it comes to Roma's, the American giants seem to have gotten it spot on.

With the away kit, they again have gone for a very simple though effective design, a darker shade of white turning into a lighter shade further down with thin stripes going downwards. Trim from the home colours, including the Nike logo, can also be seen dotted around this beautiful jersey.

Whether or not Claudio Ranieri's men will top the Serie A league table in 2019/2020 remains to be seen, but they're sure to be up there in the kit standings.

Watford 2019/2020 home

The leaked Adidas Watford 2018/2019 home shirt is certainly an eye-catching one - it always is with the club's noticeable black, yellow and red colours at Vicarage Road.

This time around, the Hornets have opted for a half black, half yellow design with red trim, badges and FxPro branding, alongside red stripes the length of the shoulders.

Whilst it would clash majorly with the colour scheme, you could certainly imagine UEFA Europa League badges on those sleeves. It's just a shame they won't be there.

Barcelona 2019/2020 home

Ernesto Valverde's Barcelona may be romping to yet another La Liga title and possible UEFA Champions League glory, but off the field, they're hardly winning in terms of kits for next campaign.

Their leaked 2019/2020 home strip is yet another shocker from Nike as Barca abandon their traditional blue and red stripe design.

The colours are pretty much the same but the incorporation of chequers, akin to that of the Croatia national team's home stripe, will have fans of the Spanish giants wanting to look away.

Chelsea 2019/2020 away

This classic design is the leaked Chelsea 2019/2020 away kit made by Nike, featuring retro cuffed sleeves and a button collar, both of which have blue and red trim at their ends.

The main colour is a tedious white, with this strip, undoubtedly an ode to some of the jerseys of yesteryear, just lacking a little bit of rock and roll.

The dark blue of the Nike tick can also be seen on the collar and sleeves but the Yokohama Tyres badge is a completely different blue which is an eyesore. All in all, this kit is a rather average one.

Manchester United 2019/2020 third

Manchester United really do seem to be going all out nostalgic with their kits for next season, also honouring a famous event from yesteryear with their third kit.

The leaked Adidas strip is black with roses printed all over in honour of United's victory in the 1909 FA Cup final over Bristol City whilst wearing a white shirt with the Manchester rose in the middle, 110 years on.

The Adidas and Red Devils badge is an orangey tint and once more, there are colour clashes with the sponsors. Members of the Old Trafford faithful will more than likely be pleased that this jersey is only part of the third kit.

Borrusia Dortmund 2019/2020 away

German giants Borrusia Dortmund are known for their flamboyant colour displays at matches and kits, usually black and yellow, that catches the eye.

And the away shirt for next season is no different in this regard, it really doesn't let down.

A black jersey with a trademark yellow badge and light grey stripe on the sleeves is joined by pattered cloud-like stripes moving across in three places and matching light grey Evonik sponsorship. Fantastic.
