January means two things, you are attempting to keep to a silly new years' resolution, but most importantly the Transfer window is open!

For 31 days, clubs around the world have the opportunity to strengthen their squad ahead of the business end of the season.

Almost 100% of players have contracts that end in the summer months, meaning players who have contracts until Summer 2019, now only have six months to get a new one.

If for whatever reason, a new deal with their current club can't be struck, January is an opportunity for the club to cash in, as they will receive no money once the contract is up.

These players are yet to secure a new deal with their current club and could move in January, for the right price.

David Luiz

Despite being a regular in Maurizio Sarri's starting line-up, David Luiz is yet to sign a new deal at the club.

The Brazilian who struggled to get into Antonio Conte's team last season has made a resurgence in recent months, so surely a new deal will come before the end of the season.

Mousa Dembele

The Belgian has a lot of admirers in the Premier League but unfortunately for him, he has his fair number of injuries too.

Rumours of a move to China dominated Dembele's summer, so surely Spurs will look to cash in rather than let him see out his contract.

Gary Cahill

While David Luiz has had a resurgence since Maurizio Sarri's arrival at Chelsea, Gary Cahill has fallen further down the pecking order in defence.

The former England captain has made just one Premier League appearance so far this season and has been linked with at least a loan move to Fulham.

Juan Mata

The Spaniard has had a topsy-turvy time at Manchester United, being reduced largely to bit-part roles.

According to reports, talks are continuing and a new deal could be struck soon, but should a bid come in January and with uncertainty at Old Trafford, could the midfielder be swayed?

James Milner

Now 32, James Milner has quietly become one of the most versatile players in the Premier League.

Surely his ability and attitude warrants him receiving a new deal at Anfield?

Nacho Monreal

The Spaniard has been out of favour since the arrival of Unai Emery and has been reduced to mostly cup and substitute appearances.

Could the left-back be about to end his five year spell in the Premier League with a move away this January?

Adrien Rabiot

According to reports Adrien Rabiot has attracted a lot of interest from Tottenham Hotspur in recent months, with news that he will be seeing out his contract in Paris.

Will he or Spurs wait until the summer to get the deal done?

Aaron Ramsey

It has been widely reported that Aaron Ramsey has had an offer to extend his Arsenal contract taken off the table.

The Welshman who is still a regular contributor in the first team would surely be able to get into the majority of Premier League club's starting line-ups.

Rumours are that Juventus are interested in acquiring his services.

Arjen Robben

Earlier this season, the Dutchman announced that his tenth season with German giants Bayern Munich will be his last, but where is he off to?

It seems that the 34-year-old has a plan and is waiting for the right moment to make an announcement. We think he's got another couple of years in him at the very top.

Daniel Sturridge

Thanks to the form of his team mates, Daniel Sturridge has been down the pecking order at Liverpool in recent seasons and even went on loan to West Brom last season.

The England international is unlikely to sign a new deal at the club, so would be a great free transfer option in the summer or on the cheap this January.

Andy Carroll

He's had his fair share of injuries, so it is no surprise that West Ham's Andy Carroll hasn't secured a new deal at the London Stadium.

His bumper £90,000-a-week deal with the Hammers ends this summer and rumours of a return to Newcastle are circulating.

Olivier Giroud

It was a bit of a shock when Olivier Giroud joined Chelsea on a 18-month contract last January.

Now a World Cup winner, the 32-year-old is likely to prefer a move back to his native France rather than another move to a Premier League side.

Antonio Valencia

He may be the Manchester United captain, but Antonio Valencia has played just four games in the Premier League this season thanks to a host of injuries.

The club have an option of a year extension to his current contract, but it seems unlikely, especially with the uncertainty of a permanent manager.

Danny Welbeck

Danny Welbeck is another injury prone player who is unlikely to be offered a new contract at the end of the season.

The England forward has an impressive record in front of goal, but he has also had six lengthy injury lay-offs in four years.

Wesley Sneijder

Sneijder has been playing in Qatar for side Al-Gharafa since being released by Nice in January 2018.

The Dutchman's 18 month contract ends in June and it has been rumoured he is open to a return to European football.

Andreas Pereira

The Brazilian has made just 21 senior appearances for United since 2014 which has included two loan spells in Spain.

Surely Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the Manchester United board will be looking to offload him in January rather let him see out his contract.

Eliaquim Mangala

Manchester City defender made just two appearances during his loan spell at Everton after suffering a knee injury that required surgery.

The Frenchman has made nine Premier League appearances this season but is way down the pecking order at the Etihad.

Vincent Kompany

Whether Pep Guardiola likes it or not, Vincent Kompany's contract at Manchester City is coming to an end this summer.

The Belgian captain is a fan favourite and Guardiola is reportedly desperate to get him to sign a new deal, but could he be about to put an end to his ten year stay in England?

Ander Herrera

Herrera is in his fifth season in Manchester but is still yet to nail his starting place down.

However the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seen him given a versatile role in the midfield, so the Spaniard will be hoping the Norwegian gets the job full time.

Cesc Fabregas

Fabregas shocked a lot of people when he announced he had signed a five-year deal at Chelsea in 2014, leaving a successful Barcelona team.

Four and a half years later, the Spaniard has two Premier League titles, a FA Cup and League Cup to show for his time.

With a new deal unlikely, where will the 31-year-old be headed next. Monaco?

Brahim Diaz

After being limited to cup appearances, Brahim Diaz looks set to snub a new deal at Manchester City this summer.

It is believed the attacking midfielder has become disillusioned with the lack of opportunities and is set for a move to Real Madrid.

Diego Godin

If rumours are true, the Atletico Madrid captain has rejected a new two-year contract with the Spanish giants.

Godin, 32, was linked with a move to Manchester United in 2018, surely Madrid will cash in rather than leave him make a free switch this summer.

Filipe Luis

The former Chelsea man is another Atletico Madrid player whose contract is running out at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old left-back has reportedly turned down a revised contract, so maybe he already has a plan of where he wants to play his football next season.
