Arsenal face their biggest test of the season so far this Sunday when they travel to Anfield to take on a Liverpool side who have shown real venom in attack this term, netting ten times from four competitive fixtures in the Premier League and the Europa League.
The Gunners, meanwhile, have struggled defensively, conceding three goals at home to Leicester City on the opening weekend and suffering a 1-0 defeat to Stoke City last Saturday.
That’s raised questions over whether Arsenal should still be employing the 3-4-3 system that provided an uplift in results at the end of last season or reverting back to Arsene Wenger’s more tried and trusted 4-5-1 setup.
We asked Gunners fans for their opinions on the matter earlier this week and although the majority chose to stick with 3-4-3, it’s rather telling that 44% opted for 4-5-1. Clearly, a significant chunk of the Arsenal faithful aren’t convinced by the gaffer’s current setup.
