Matching up has become a common soundbite amongst Premier League tacticians, particularly when it comes to 3-4-3.

Indeed, most Premier League sides attempted the formation at least once last season and most of the time it was against Chelsea, whose implementation of 3-4-3 shot them to the very top of the Premier League table.

In the majority of instances, the Blues reigned supreme. But there are a number of examples of Chelsea coming unstuck when top sides used their own system against them; Tottenham used 3-4-3 in a 2-0 win over the west Londoners at White Hart Lane in January, while Arsenal employed it in the FA Cup final.

With that in mind, we asked Manchester City fans earlier this week whether Pep Guardiola should consider matching up when his side travel to Stamford Bridge to take on the reigning champions this Saturday.

But according to our poll, 65% of City supporters don't want their manager to follow the common Premier League trend of playing 3-4-3 against the Blues. So, City fans, which formation would you call upon this weekend instead? Let us know by commenting below...
